Hadn't have time to do CNY shopping, so I made do with the dress that Mummy bought for whoever wants to wear (3 out of 4 of us can share clothes). It never feel like there's something to look forward to, but it's a must, to go to Ahma's (paternal) house and bai nian on every new year's chu yi. It never feels like a reunion, because each family visits Ahma's house at a different time. Heard from Mummy more stuff in the paternal family, like, who and who can't get along, whoever is still as stingy, whoever borrows money and don't return. I wonder how Ahma is feeling, like, out of all the children she have, how many of them are actually really being filial. Forget about them, there's us grandchildren, yet, me and my sisters seems to get to see her like only twice a year (once on new year's eve for reunion dinner and the other on chu yi), other cousins doesn't seem to be any better either.
Forget about these stuff, CNY is (i guess) the only time when the family dolls up :D

Arh. This is a photo of all 4 of us in dunno how many years.
Ya ya I'm wearing a dress. Do not laugh.
Nono the long haired one with the phone isn't me, I'm the prettier one (with bigger eyes) beside her :p
Pink one in front of me is the kuku rebellious one. Study hard lar you, or else I'll set a password to the desktop.
The one right in front kneeling like a stone lion is the weird one, the one who talks damn slowly on the phone. Eh buy more Calbee and share with me.
It was dinner with Kantang and OWY at Aijia's house on chu er night. What fun it was! Everyone turned up, except Limin (ahmin ah.. pleaseeee join us next time!) and of course ZZ who's still in Canada. Started off with gambling, somehow I've lost interest in Mahjong, so I'm always on the floor playing banluck/Bridge. The best part was, everyone sat on the floor and played in-between, real fun it was! (: Losing money doesn't seem to be a sad thing at that time, in fact it became an amusing thing. It was quite unbelievable because the pool of money just become bigger and bigger and people just can't win be it how big the chances were. It was exceptionally re nao because there were YL and Douglas around too. It's my first time to lao yu sheng! So we lao-ed at a rather late time, saying the blessings and hoping for the best in the new year.
We are, a family (:
