Breakthroughs

Last week = 100% risk of drowning
Today = 50% risk of drowning
*GRINS*

Thanks to Jiamin "Coach Ng" for always splashing water into my face whenever I come up from the water after doing wrong strokes/actions. She threatened to bite my toe just like what her coach used to do to her when she didn't swim correctly. Well of course I didn't get bitten by her, and I happily learnt breast-stroke under her strict demands. Now I've got no problem with coming up to breathe and breathing out underwater through the nose =D I won't die so easily now, heh heh. If it didn't rain, I would have learnt breast-stroke fully and perfect it as much as possible. Well it was still a very very fruitful day, that for the first time in 18years, swimming finally doesn't seem that difficult after all! Swimming next week again! =D

Before going to swim, I met Jiamin to play badminton first. Woohoo and I didn't realise that it's 'walkable' (is there such a word?) distance from my house to her house. Badminton time wasn't that intense, haha, because there was wind and our skills are not that good to hit the shuttlecock to and fro continously, but picking up shuttlecocks can be tiring too ok. Haha.

It's finally a meaningful Saturday! Badminton, swimming, and then mugging. A totally different lifestyle from the usual Saturdays, but I really like this unusual one. Yes.

Ouran High School Host Club came to an end. It's my favourite anime along with Bleach. What a nice ending it is! Ouran! Heh. Anyway, the other day when I went to NTU with Jiamin to watch Energy's campus concert, it suddenly strikes me to want to get a boyfriend [after seeing three damn lucky fans getting their hands held by Energy and singing a ballad to them. Damn! I should have raised my hand and waved like mad and be one of the three. HAHA]. Hahahaha. I told Jiamin and she laughed at me, and she said to me, "then you better stop fantasizing about your non-existent anime characters first!!", and I realised, my anime lovers are just TOO GOOD to forget about. Hahahaha. What's more I'm currently hooked onto Slam Dunk manga again [even though Slam Dunk is like 'the old times', it's never boring to relive good things again], resulting in me getting gaga over all those basketballers [Sendoh!] in the comic AGAIN. It was first time in pri5, when SD is like so god damn hot and Channel 8 aired the anime every Saturdays at 1 pm. And then that led on to buying SD collectibles like those glittery stickers that costs 20cents each from those 'turn-turn machines'. I was clearing my cupboard the other day and I looked at my 6-year-old stickers that still look new till now. I think I'm going to keep them till I grow old and die. Haha. I was quite surprised the other morning to realise that I subconsciously hummed the whole of SD theme song so smoothly, after parting from the anime for 5,6 years. Anime and comics are gradually becoming a big part of my life, and I love it!

There have been a couple of disturbances at home these days. One thing that I really cannot stand is seeing things like MapleStory in the computer. The day before I had one of the most pleasant surprise this year - MAPLE IS GONE FROM THE COMPUTER! It was certainly a piece of good news, but guess what I saw when I reached home today. One of my sisters' neighbourhood clique guy is sitting at MY COMPUTER, don't know doing what! Damn. To think that I said 'Hi' when I saw him, thinking that he just need to use the computer for checking emails or kind of stuff. And then I reached explosive state when I finally got hold of the computer - GAMES AND MORE GAMES INSTALLED. Maple is back, with more power I can sense. Now I see AuditionSea in my computer too. Gunz Online is still there. Gone. There goes my computer. I can foresee how it will crash. So is he the one who installed AuditionSea into MY COMPUTER?! Whatever! Damn you! What I cannot understand is, why must you be such a bad influence to my sister who is that easily influenced and is taking her first and most important major exams in her life NEXT WEEK?! Hello you are older than me, use your brain and think about the consequences of your seemingly-heroic-but-not-heroic-at-all actions! And you! It wouldn't be a surprise if you screw up your exams because I don't see you working hard for it at all! I DO NOT LIKE to repeat myself for so many times, and if you don't listen, forget it. Taking some time off to watch Jacky Wu on tv and have a good laugh is way off better than scolding you. And to someone else, sometimes I just cannot click with you, and don't get on my nerves by offending me [even if you didn't mean it]. I may not show that I'm unhappy, but I do not show that I can be happy talking to you [because I'm not] either. Sorry dude.

I finally borrowed the CD of last year's TJCO concert's recordings from Ivan! Listening to each and every performed piece brings back all those wonderful memories. As cliche it may sound, but it is true. I took my scores out and read them as the music goes, sometimes unable to believe that I could actually play them. Listening to a piece where you can hear yourself playing is one of the best thing in life. I suddenly want to buy a double bass home that badly. I want to get hold of a double bass and play it again. I want to practise, perform and take part in SYF again.

Chun Kiat said that my previous blog title 'Health is Wealth' is very song2 [俗]. Haha and Jiamin agrees. Ok so I decided to change it, not because of what they said, but I thought this new one is more, um, catchy.
